No 3rd Party Sharing

We will never share personal information of any kind with a 3rd party. It is not our task to collect personal information.

Cookies are stored server-side

Typically, cookies are stored by the browser on your own machine. While using Pythoxy, the cookies are saved in a file on the server in order to maintain anonymity. By doing so, it makes it more difficult to determine what websites you have visited by looking at history from your computer. Once your session with Pythoxy has ended (by either timeout or by closing your browser), your session file will expire and will eventually get deleted.

There may be page rendering issues

Pythoxy may not be able to render a web page perfectly, especially when Javascript is turned on. This means that the server being accessed may be able to retreive information (such as an IP address) as if you weren't accessing it through Pythoxy. This has been confirmed to be a rare case. If you find a place where this has occured, please contact me so that I may fix the issue.

Pythoxy and SSL

All data being transmitted to Pythoxy is encryped using SSL. This is done in order to maintain that your requests are anonymous.

Pythoxy and Apache

Pythoxy currently runs on a shared Apache server. Because of this, there is no way of disabling request logging. Please note that no identifiable information is stored in any logs.
