Welcome

Pythoxy is a HTTP web proxy written using Python. It acts as an intermediary between you and the host that you're trying to connect to. By doing this, anonymity is gained. Pythoxy has numerous uses, but most notably is probably its ability to bypass most filters at school or work.

Python 3.0 Conversion

I'm now in the process of making the code Python 3.0 compatible as I believe that it will help clear up the source code substantially.

New Version Up

I updated the version of Pythoxy running on this site from 0.9.1b to 0.9.2b. There aren't many differences that'll be noticable to you, but in the background, there's a lot of improvments to code. One thing you may notice, however, is that now there might be warnings at the bottom of the page if that site has a known bug. For instance, visiting myspace.com will inform you of a bug in the message reply function.

Pythoxy Open For Use

It's that time. Pythoxy can now be tested by anybody that wants to. Click here, or click 'Use Pythoxy' on the right to begin. Please, if you decide to use it, inform me of any bugs that you find.

Donations Needed

Pythoxy runs on user donations. Please donate today to make sure that Pythoxy can continue to run.

How Far Along?

There is still a lot that must be done to Pythoxy before its completion. To read the checklist, then go here. If it looks like I'm missing something that is vital to a proxy, then please contact me.
